AccessLex Scholarship Databank

You can search the AccessLex Scholarship Databank to search for over 800 curated and vetted scholarship opportunities and writing competitions. Current opportunities total more than $3 million in aid. AccessLex MAX also provides scholarship incentives during your 1L year for completion of a personal finance curriculum developed just for law students. 

Hannah R. Arterian Memorial Scholarship

AccessLex Institute is pleased to announce the inaugural MAX by AccessLex® Hannah R. Arterian Memorial Scholarship of $50,000! Annually, one 1L MAX participant who completes the eight-part Financial Foundations course and attends at least two MAX events will be automatically entered to win a $50,000 scholarship toward their remaining law school tuition. The first drawing of the Scholarship will take place and will thereby stand apart from the annual MAX by AccessLex® Grand Prize. USLAW NETWORK Law School Diversity Scholarship

This scholarship will award $5,000 for up to 10 students selected by the USLAW NETWORK scholarship selection committee.

USLAW NETWORK is an international organization composed of approximately 100 independent, full-service law firms, including more than 6,000 attorneys across the U.S., Canada, Latin America, and Asia, and with affiliations in Europe through TELFA. USLAW launched in 2001 and comprises highly rated law firms who are part of the NETWORK by invitation only. USLAW firms are experienced in commercial and business law, employment and labor law, litigation, and other business-related areas of law. All firms have substantial trial experience. USLAW member firms provide legal representation to major corporations, insurance companies, and large and small businesses alike. For more information, visit uslaw.org. Hampton Roads Community Foundation

The Willcox Savage Scholarship for African American/Black law students or other historically marginalized racial or ethnic groups such as, but not limited to, Native American/Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, Middle Eastern, Asian and Pacific Islander, who are long-time Virginia residents enrolled in a juris doctor program. Preference will be given to first-year law students, students attending a law school in Virginia, and/or students from Hampton Roads. Financial need is required. There will be one $5,000 renewable scholarship awarded for the 2023-2024 academic year.
